Ask anyone in Israel, from either side of the political spectrum, about the Gilo "settlement" and people will look at you incomprehensibly.

This is because, in the eyes of all those who live here, Gilo is a town like any other. This particular difference of opinion between Israel and the rest of the planet is the cause of many missunderstandings.
